    fb search

    Searches a registry's packages.

    fb search [options] <words>...

    fb search lists the packages that match every one of the words, up to the first 10, each as the start of a word in the package’s name, description, or keywords, with each one’s newest version and description. A package that matches some of the words but not all of them isn’t listed. A registry on disk has only its packages’ names, so there the name has to have every word.

    Options

    Option
    --registry <name>A registry that project.toml’s [registries] names, or an index’s URL or folder. Without it, futureblitz.dev’s, or the mirror [registries] names for futureblitz, if there is one.
    --limit <n>Shows at most n packages, from 1 to 100; without it, 10
    --color <when>Colors the output: auto, always, or never

    Examples

    fb search markdown
    fb search markdown ext --limit 20
    Output
    markdown = "1.0.0"
    markdown_ext = "0.4.1"
    markdown_ext = "0.4.1"

    markdown ext finds only markdown_ext: markdown has the first word but not the second.
